Welcome, IM Global Servants: Dan and Sarah Chetti
We welcome Dan and Sarah Chetti, the first IM global servants in the Arab world, to our worship service today. Dan is an adjunct professor at the Arab Baptist Theological Seminary. He promotes strategic Arab ministries through Enduring Love, which currently reaches people in seven countries.. Sarah pioneered a ministry that assists migrant domestic workers (MDWs) in Lebanon. Following the service this morning, plan to gather in Barker Hall to hear more about their important work.
ONE Great Hour of Sharing
“You are here to be light, bringing out the God-colors in the world.” Matt. 5:14-15
One Great Hour of Sharing provides emergency relief and funds for the development projects which address chronic needs. OGHS supports disaster relief, ministries to displaced persons, and development projects of the American Baptist Churches and its partners.
“This little light of mine, I’m gonna let it shine…Let it shine, let it shine, let it shine… “. If Jesus had a playlist of music, surely this familiar hymn would be among the Top Five. Jesus teaches that faith calls for action. Sharing our light, as the diverse and colorful expression of God’s love here on earth, leads to making blankets, staffing food pantries, cooking meals, building houses and schools, signing petitions for worthy causes, and protesting injustices. A simple song with a simple message—our light is on a light stand, for all to see—shine and share. On any given day, light is shining because we are there through our gifts to OGHS.
Your contributions make a difference. Your dollars count. Give generously. Share the light

Through the Bible in 2025
The reading schedule is adapted for 2025 from one created by Bob Rognlien*, and is meant to be part of a slow, prayerful devotional every Monday through Saturday. With a daily reading of around 10-15 verses at a time, it is paced to give space to reflect on Jesus’ words and actions and how they connect to our lives today. Click here to learn more
