Nervous about a new role? Don’t worry! We can pair you with a mentor to support you along the way. For example, if you want to lead the kitchen crew but feel unsure about the ovens or portions, a mentor will be right there to help you succeed!
We’re Hiring a Praise Team Leader
Do you know someone with musical talent, leadership skills, and a heart for worship? First Baptist Church is seeking a part-time Praise Team Leader. Please help us share this opportunity within your networks and throughout our community. If you are on Facebook, it can be as easy as liking and sharing the post from the church’s facebook page.
For more information or a complete job description, details are on our website, or contact us by email at HR@fbcblm.org.
One Great Hour of Sharing
“Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.” 2 Corinthians 9:7
One Great Hour of Sharing provides emergency relief and funds for the development projects which address chronic needs. OGHS supports disaster relief, ministries to displaced persons, and development projects of the American Baptist Churches and its partners.
OGHS has been an offering of love to the world for over 77 years. Each year you are invited to give for the sake of sisters and brothers around the globe. Our collective giving to OGHS shows up around the world in tangible acts of love, compassion and care. Simply put, OGHS shows up when immediate and long-term help is needed. We may never personally witness the results of our help but that what a love offering is: giving from the heart, believing that our gifts make a difference, trusting that our gifts bear hope and love in the lives of those to whom we are connected.
Your contributions make a difference. Your dollars count. Give generously. Spread the love.
