Committal Service & Celebration of Life for Jim Arnfield Friday May 1
The family of Jim Arnfield invites you to attend his committal service at 1:30 PM at East Lawn Cemetery. Following the service, a Celebration of Life will be held at Westminster Village, Room R3. All are welcome to join in honoring Jim’s memory.
Annual Business Meeting & Potluck Sunday May 3 After Worship Service
Don’t forget the annual business meeting is this Sunday at 11:15. Following the meeting we will have a potluck. So, plan on joining us after Worship for information and fun. Please bring a main dish and/or side dish/dessert to share. Plates, silverware and drinks will be provided although the meat will not be provided.
We look forward to sharing about the work of the Church as well as enjoying fellowship over a shared meal
Celebration of Life for Janie Rempel Tuesday May 5
Visitation will be held Monday evening, May 4, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Calvert & Metzler Memorial Home. A Celebration of Life service will take place here at First Baptist Church on Tuesday, May 5, at 11:00 AM. Following the service, all are welcome to join the family for a luncheon
All Church Workday May 9 @ 9:00 am
The Facilities Committee will be having a workday on Saturday, May 9 from 9-12. Please consider coming for the whole morning or even an hour to do tasks that help keep the building and grounds neat and organized. There will be a list of both inside and outside jobs for all ages. Donuts and juice will be provided
The Bridge Project Tour May 11 @ 10:00 am
Anyone is welcome to join ABWM on Monday, May 11th, at 10:00 A.M. to carpool from the church for a tour of The Bridge Project’s transitional tiny homes. After the tour, the group will gather for lunch at Garden of Paradise; please sign up at the ABWM table across from the coat racks if you plan to attend
